Lou and Derrick — brothers-in-law and lifelong partners in chaos — were having one of those late-night conversations where every idea sounds like a genius plan. Freeze dried candy kept coming up. They'd seen it blowing up on TikTok, watched video after video of Skittles turning into these wild, crunchy, flavor-exploding little puffs, and thought... we could do that.

So they did.

One machine. One big leap. And a whole lot of candy.

What started as a late-night idea is now Feral Unicorn Snack Emporium — where science meets snacking and every bite is a little unexpected. We take your favorite candies and transform them into something crunchier, bolder, and honestly kind of magical.

Behind every great snack company is a team that actually makes it run. Lou and Derrick handle the craft. Pam brings the party — keeping Feral Unicorn showing up at events and in your community. And then there's Vanessa, who prefers to work behind the scenes — optimizing, organizing, and occasionally cleaning up everyone else's mess. The team just calls her AI. You can decide if that stands for Artificially Intelligent or just Annoyingly Indispensable.

Lou — Co-Founder & Chief Idea Officer Lou's mind never stops. Seriously — one minute he's designing a custom cabinet, the next he's figuring out how to build a house between two mountains, and somewhere in between he's dreaming up Feral Unicorn's next big thing. Loyal to his core and funny in a way that's truly one of a kind (though Derrick might argue that), Lou is the entrepreneurial heartbeat of this operation. When he's not freeze drying candy or gaming on his PC, you'll find him by the ocean or on a fishing trip — optimistically waiting for a fish to show up. One day, Lou. One day. 🎣

Derrick — Co-Founder & mad Scientist Derrick is the kind of guy who goes camping and comes back with handmade tools he built from scratch around the fire. An artist, a tinkerer, and a quiet genius, Derrick lives for the idea and the experiment — the moment when something clicks and becomes something magical. He may hang back at events but don't let that fool you — behind every great product is Derrick somewhere in the background, building, refining, and making it better. He and Lou have been finishing each other's sentences and dreaming up wild ideas over game nights long before Feral Unicorn existed, and honestly the world is better for it. 🎮

Pam — Director of Vibes & Unicorn in Chief If Feral Unicorn has a spark, Pam is the one holding the match. Spunky, energetic, and completely unstoppable, Pam is the reason people stop, smile, and stay at every event she's part of. Yes, she sometimes puts on the full Unicorn costume — and yes, it is exactly as magical as it sounds. 🦄 But beyond the sparkle and the hype, Pam is the one putting in the work — finding events, setting up, making candy, and showing up every single time. She's not just the life of the party. She IS the party.

Vanessa — The AI (Annoyingly Indispensable) Don't let the quiet fool you. While everyone else is out front making noise, Vanessa is behind the scenes making sure everything actually works. The website? That's her. The social media? Also her. The reason anything looks polished and put together? You guessed it. She may not be the first one to grab the mic at an event, but when she does show up out there she can hold her own just fine — she just prefers to let her work speak for itself. With a heart so big it sometimes gets her into trouble, Vanessa is the quiet backbone of Feral Unicorn and honestly the whole thing might fall apart without her. We'd never tell her that though. 😄🦄
